Dietrich Johnson Cooperative Nursery School (DJCNS) classes begin at 9:00 am. Children are picked up between 11:45 and noon. There are two teachers in each room. The 2's, 3's, and 3/4's classes have a helping parent daily.

2 ½'s Class
Meets Tuesday and Friday from 9:00-11:45 am.

3's Class
Meets Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9:00-11:45 am.

3/4's Class
Meets Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9:00-11:50 am.

4's Class
Meets Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9:00-noon.

5's Class
Meets Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9:00-noon.

LUNCH PROGRAM

DJCNS offers an optional lunch program allowing students to bring lunch and play for an additional hour after the regular nursery school hours. Parents can send their children to the lunch program on an as-needed basis.

TERRIFIC TUESDAYS EXTENDED DAY PROGRAM

DJCNS offers an extended day enrichment program to students in the 3/4's, 4's, and 5's classes. The program runs every other Tuesday afternoon from noon to 2:30 and consists of the lunch program and a short "Rest and Read" time followed by a story, project and activity.

CURBSIDE DROP OFF AND PICK UP

Students can be conveniently dropped off curbside between 9:00 and 9:20 am and picked up curbside at the end of the day. Drop-off and pick-up takes place on Nassau Street in front of the Nassau Presbyterian Church and is staffed by the school's teachers and Helping Parents.

PARENT/TEACHER COMMUNICATIONS

The teachers encourage parents to contact them at any time to discuss questions or concerns about their child. Updates of your child's growth and development will be provided in a progress report in the fall and during a parent/teacher conference in the spring.

FOOD ALLERGY AWARE - PEANUT AND TREE NUT-FREE POLICY

Our school has a peanut and tree nut-free food policy.
